in popularity. But being relatively new technology compared to conventional, tank-based water heaters, many plumbers or installation technicians are still not completely familiar with them. More problematic still, aside from this lack of familiarity, there are plenty of scammers who claim to be experienced "experts" at installing tankless systems. This can lead to the incorrect installation of the unit and will either require a reinstallation and repair. Worst of all, it may lead to the voiding of your warranty. It is vitally important that you find a qualified tankless installation technician.

There are different types of tankless heaters and they require different types of installation procedures. The most popular kinds are the gas tankless water heater and the electric.

Not only that you will be a little more content with your electricity bills to be lower once the heater is properly installed, you will also be happy with the fact that you can get hot water whenever you need it in your home.

Proper installation is crucial for optimizing a tankless heater's energy efficiency, which is one of the reasons you bought it in the first place; without that, a big part of your investment is going down the drain. As mush as you'd like to keep costs low, cutting cost on installation by hiring "some guy" is definitely the wrong way to go. Choosing to go tankless is a smart decision, don't countermand such action by having the unit installed by an unqualified technician.
